Delivery Policy

Platform Of Instruction
All online coaching sessions are conducted through Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Once you register, you'll receive a meeting link sent to your registered email address for each session.
In person coaching is available if you're based in Abu Dhabi, or willing to travel here. In person sessions are held on location around Abu Dhabi, out in the field where you'll actually be using your camera, not in a studio.

Scheduling
In person sessions are held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons only. We keep it to these three days on purpose. That window catches the cooler weather and the best natural light of the day, and the light you practice in is the light that shows up in your photos. Your preferred day and time within this window is chosen right on the registration form when you book.
Online sessions can be scheduled any day and time that works for both of us. You'll pick your preferred day, time, and start date directly on the registration form.

Course Delivery Time
Once you've submitted the registration form, we personally check the schedule and send you a confirmation email within 24 hours. If your preferred slot is open, that email will include a payment link to confirm your booking. If it isn't, we'll reach out to suggest a different date instead.
The first session cannot be scheduled less than two days from the date your payment is received.
Each session runs approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours for in person coaching, and 90 to 120 minutes for online coaching. The full coaching program is four sessions, currently our only program, and each participant has a maximum of one year to complete all four. For best results, we recommend spacing sessions about one week apart, giving you enough time to practice and complete any assignment given during the previous session.

Methodology
This program is hands on and practical, not a lecture. English is the primary medium of instruction, and Filipino is available if you'd prefer it.
In person, we go on location together. You shoot with your own camera while we coach you and help dial in your settings live, right there in the moment.
Online, we talk through each lesson by video call and demonstrate what's needed. You'll leave with a shooting assignment to complete on your own, and we review it together at the start of your next session.

Either way, you'll receive a mobile friendly PDF cheat sheet by email after every session, so you can go deeper into the reasoning behind what we covered, whenever you have time.
Composition, natural light, and editing aren't part of this program. Those get their own dedicated coaching, separate from this one.

Student Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining a stable technology environment to join your sessions, including a reliable internet connection, and hardware like a working microphone and camera if joining online. You're also responsible for saving your own work, including any notes, photos, or assignments, on your own device. We won't be able to recover lost work for you.
A reminder will be sent ahead of your scheduled session, but it's ultimately your responsibility to remember your appointment.

Meeting Cancellation And Rescheduling
We understand that work and personal life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give us at least 30 minutes' notice before your scheduled time.
For in person sessions, we'll find another slot within the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday window. For online sessions, just reach out and we'll sort out a new time together.
If you cancel or ask to reschedule with less than 30 minutes' notice, or you simply don't show up without telling us, it's treated as a no-show. Your first no-show is excused, and the session stays open for rebooking. Starting with your second no-show, the session is treated as used and is no longer eligible for rebooking.
